hi there. well once again we all went off to seek another full and exciting day, and you once again came up to our expectations, brilliant. there were myself, my husband, my eldest daughter, her two girls, my youngest daughter and her husband, and baby Poppy. Also two freinds of ours with their toddler, so it was a good party of people once again we bought along. It gets better every time we come along, except this time and I feel awful doing this, I have a complaint. We took all the children into the indoor play area, where we all ate and had tea to drink, that too was fine, BUT there were two young girls wiping down tables with blue jay cloths, they were fast at clearing away every time someone vacated their table. The problem we all noticed as did other people around, was that neither one of those girls had a bottle of antibactereal spray in their hands, and they wiped the tables the seating where people may have passed wind or even had dirty boddies, then carried on wiping BABY TRAYS attached to baby seats, all with cold dirty unwashed cloths!!! this went on and on and on and on, observed by not only our group but by others. Now I was in there for well over an hour and half and not once were those cloths washed or changed. I work with food every day, have passed not only my food and Hygene once but have gone on to gain further certificates. I have to say I was appalled, I do understand it must be difficult to get staff to work Sunday's, but please get someone to have a serious word with these two on the seriousness of this. I do not wish for these two girls to lose there jobs, but to be given the chance to rectify this very dissgusting habit they have aquired. I am always telling people who come into the restaurant where I work what a fantastic place it is, as I live in Derby not many until I tell have heard of it. I have even informed my granddaughters school of it.[it being Sundown adventure] So I hope on my next visit, things will have changed for the better. It could have been worse had a food and hygene inspector been visiting with their young. Big brother is out there watching us all, so be aware please. Kind regards Elaine Newcomb
