Found this Shop by accident on way to Ripon. Bought some lovely wild venison steaks, and a pack of mixed game and some gressingham duck breasts. Had those for christmas dinner....they were bigger than the orsinary sort and also excellent. Shop has a wide range of frozen meats and other local produce. Would definitely go again and even make a special visit as its a beautiful part of the country. The lady in there even gave me a polystyrene box to keep everything frozen !!!

They have an excellent range of preserves/ chutneys from local suppliers. They have a fabulous own label marmalade called 'windfall' which is my absolute favourite. The cakes are excellent too. Lots of local produce, including Maggie Archers' asparagus, when in season. Very convenient location as on the main Ripon Thirsk road.
