Hi, I have been going to the Farm a few times for a morning coffee with my friend. And on Saturday me and hubby went up there for a lunch. It is actually very good and me and my friend like the fact that its out in the country. However, I thought that my bacon sandwich, at £3.25p, on Saturday, was a bit expensive since it was only bacon and 2 slices of bread. No side salad or anything. It badly needed the extras to make it more than just two slices of bread and a couple of rashers of bacon! Other than that, it is a lovely place to go every now and again.

I felt I had to write this after reading the last review. I live less than a mile from this shop, and since it opened have used it very regularly, to the point that I hardly see tesco these days. A huge amount of the produce is local - including milk, cheese, butter, and recently bread, staples you can't go without. There is also meat and smoked goods also local, as well as their own preprepared homemade food such as quiche, soup, presrves and cakes. On top of this their own eggs are wonderful, there IS purple sprouting broccoli in season, the local salad is addictive, the homegrown rhubarb wonderful, and most of the produce is local if not homegrown and is clearly labelled.
