We visited this site on a number of occasions in 2008 and enjoyed it that much that we had a seasonal pitch for 2009. Jeff the bar manager runs the club very well with his team of Bob( who incidentally is the bingo caller and compere), Steve and Lisa. The club is very friendly with a lot of owners being there every weekend. There are plenty of showers and the site is very well laid out, the 2 fishing lakes are always very popular. During high season there is entertainment most nights and Bob keeps everyone entertained with his quick wit and bingo. There is a cafe serving food in the evenings and breakfasts in the mornings. We will be returning for the 2010 season, just hope it will be as good as the 2009 season.

The accomodation was basic and could also do with some modernisation. The club on the site could also do with some modernisation and on both nights we were there there was only one person serving which meant that there was a constant line of people waiting to be served. The bar was open and serving until 12 however as soon as the bar closed the bar staff were rushing you with your drinks and getting you out, in other words as soon as they have had your money they do not want to know. Whilst in the club we witnessed the Manager being really rude to a customer, including swearing at a customer, this is not what you want to see when you have young children with you. When leaving the club we were told by a couple who have a caravan sited there that the Manager is known for being a bully with the customers and they have also experienced this. The couple also told me that the Ground Rent had also increased recently however the amenities i.e toliet block and showers were absolutely disgusting and not properly maintained and would therefore not be siting their caravan there next year. In conclusion from what I witnessed whilst staying there and from what I had been told from people who stay there I would not return here. I should have known as all other accomodation in Skegness and surrounding areas were fully booked however they seemed to have plenty of accomodation here for this busy time of the year.
