Unbelievably rude and aggressive behaviour by the landlord.
Turned up to the pub at 10.30pm with friends - one of whom was carrying an almost empty bottle of tesco sparkling water which she had drunk during the evening. No where to sit as only seats for pub visitors were occupied bearing in mind that two thirds of the pub were empty restaurant tables. As a large group we squeezes onto the seating at a meal table to be told off by the landlord (food was no longer being served) He verbally accosted my friend with the water bottle insisting that she hand it over and then in response to my husband's reply that the drinks seemed expensive anyway - threatened my husband with eviction and became aggressive to the whole group. We are all in our 50s and hardly likely to cause trouble - very nasty service and no wonder the pub is so quiet!
