The accommodation & breakfast were both good.
I have an evening meal in the restaurant and was disappointed. I had the rack of lamb as a main (£17.95).
Bearing in mind lamb is in season this was poor and presented with a basic salad and a dressing that clashed with the mint glaze on the lamb and accompanied by with what can only be described as croutons. Very poor and overpriced.
I spoke to a gentleman who stays here a lot during the week. He also rated the accommodation and breakfast but was disappointed by the lack of variety on the menu and felt it was overpriced. He actually recommended a couple of pubs and a golf in the local vicinity and generally used these most nights.
