The food was amazing as always,I have been going to this establishment for many years now and I have became friendly with the owners Janice and Daniel. As regards to the last review, you must be aware of the fact that the Bord De L'eau restaurant is a family run business and that Daniel is the only Chef. If something happens witin their family, or Daniel takes ill Janice and Daniel have no option but to close, they do not always get a chance to get into the restaurant to put a notice up. I would reccommend eating here to anyone, but to avoid disappointment, i would phone in advance to book a table as at times (mainly weekends) they are full.

Bord de L'eau, Wick. Stated clearly that it opened on Sunday evenings, but on the evening we phoned and then turned up, it was definately closed. It is really annoying when establishments do this kind of thing and doesn't help the local tourist industry one bit. If I had any influence with Michelin I would ask them to revoke their recommendation for this restaurant.
