this place depends on your experience of buffets. been to other places better such as edinburgh near the train station.you even get sausages here or other non asian items included in buffet.not much diff between lunch and evening in my thought to reflect the price increase.

The Wok ‘n Spice restaurant is located outside of Glenrothers with easy access from nearby cities and villages. In the front of the restaurant building there is a car park for about fifty cars. The interior is very tidy and spacious. Large number of windows cause that there is brightly during the day when well matched lighting enhances impression of cosines in the evening. Tables are arranged in a way to assure comfort and a bit of privacy of the guests. Walls have been painted in pleasant to the eye and warm colours The Wok ‘n Spice’s offering a huge choice and variety of traditional Chinese dishes .Everybody can find something for himself among impressive amount of offered starters, main courses and desserts. Customers have a choice from several kinds of meats like pork, beef, chicken and also fish. It is served with variety of potatoes, noodles or rises and vegetable or seafood salads. For a dessert we have choice from ice creams, fruit and cakes. Vegetarians also aren’t omitted and a few dishes are prepared especially for them. Service there is professional, friendly and makes an impression well trained. The staff is a little too obtrusive but on the other hands servants are polite and helpful. Dirty platters, glasses or cutlery are immediately cleaning away. Prices depend on time and day of the visit and start from £5 up to £12 and for it you eat as much as you can. For soft and alcoholic drinks we have to pay extra.

The Wok N Spice is a very clean and tidy restraunt, with extremely friendly staff, and nice pleasant atmosphere. Prices vary due to time of night and day of week, but are usually within £5-£12 per head. For this, you get a wide choice of foods - eat as much as you can! buffet style: including chicken in batter, noodles, rice, onion rings, stews, sushi, seaweed ect - there is something for every one. Booking advised, as it is popular! 5*

We visited as part of a Party of 4 Adults & 4 Children for a Buffet Lunch... and from the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the restaurant....It really was spotless! The table arrangements were such that you did not feel you were rubbing shoulders with the table next to you or nudging chairs with anyone around you (all too often restaurants appear to be focussed on being able to cram in as many tables as possible....not the case here.... and a welcome change) meaning you felt comfortable within your own personal space. The Buffet menu was vast and well laid out.... and for what I tried myself.. was absolutely first class. Likewise, there were no complaints from the rest of our party. The staff were inobtrusive but yet efficient and polite, clearing away any used plates, allowing you to simply collect a clean plate for your next buffet choice... Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the Wok 'n' Spice, and shall certainly be making a return visit in the near future...

We stayed at he Travelodge across the road and needed somewhere local to eat one evening. We decided on the Wok and Spice but didn't really know what to expect. We were really shocked at the quality of the food and the great service. I also agree that it was nice to have such a god space between tables so that you didn't feel you were too closed in. I have been to lots of chinese buffet style resauraunts and this is certainly the best. The range was vast and the staff were very firendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
