Previously I dined in Secco with my husband, the food and the service was impeccable. But last night I have been to Secco with 10 of my friends. What an amazing experience!!! We've been served drinks, after 10 minutes of ordering, providing that the restaurant was busy, and people were queuing at the door. Canapés were served 5 minutes after our drinks. The staff could be compared to a beehive, super energetic, highly attentative, and egger to please their clients. When the food arrived (we didn't ait long), it was heavenly. I ate in London's Ivy, I seriously could not say that the food was better than Secco's. So, that's where we'll be going to eat, and highly recommend it to you!

Well, if you have all day to wait & the patience of a saint, then this is the place for you!! Went for dinner with some friends & evening started on a positive note - until we entered the cafe on the 1st floor!! In short: - 8.30pm: Arrived at cafe bar - 8.40pm: Drinks order submitted - 9.30pm: Drinks eventually arrived (after numerous reminders) - 9.35pm: Food Order taken - 10.20pm: Starters arrived (after prompting -nearly 2 hrs after our arrival!) - 11pm: Mains Arrived (again after prompting staff) - 11.30pm: Lost the will to live! Clearly these people dont know how to run a business and were obviously short-staffed. Perhaps some simple communication from the outset may have avoided a disgruntled and rather famished group of guests! Personally, I'd stick to take away pizza or tesco's italian selection than visit this place again! That said, you may wish to give it a try - if nothing else, to pass some time or for shere comedy value! Suggest Gordon Ramsay gets down here for his next series of Kitchen Nightmares!
