I went to Viela for the first time during a staff Christmas party. The staff were friendly, the cocktails were superb and the atmosphere was electric! The food was beyond amazing. Absolutely sensational. The starters were delicious with crusty bread and individual pastries being served in abundance. Next up was the meat... Oh my goodness. I have never tasted anything as wonderful in my life, and I'm not even a big meat eater!!! Everything was cooked to perfection, it was exotic and a fabulous change of scenery and eating habits! I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough, so much so that I am taking my partner there for Valentines Day! 10 out of 10 Viela, well done!

Our evening was far better than just "good". Everyone keeps raving. The food and service were fantastic. We will return, and I will pass on the word to other colleagues. Thanks again for everything!

I called into this restaurant for Sunday Lunch with my partner and her parents and our little boy and we were intrigued by the food on offer, none of us were disappointed and in fact we all came away raving about the whole experience. Next time we are in the vacinity we will be sure to call again. Well done Viela and thanks for the great meal and excellent service.

I was one of a party of 10 booked into this place on a friday night. When a couple of the group didnt turn up we were treated very rudely by the restaurant owner who complained to us flapping her arms around and making us feel very unwelcome. Being the ones that were courteous (or stupid) enough to turn up and pay the inflated weekend price of £22 a head (for what was basically bbq meat and salad) we were less than pleased. Feeling very uncomfortable at this point we offered to leave to which she amazingly almost agreed! The only consolation was that the food arrived swiftly, was edible and the waiting staff were moderately friendly. Definately will not be returning or recommending.

We have just had a brilliant night out at Viela, the staff were fab and able to have a laugh with us. The meats although not all to my taste as I like my meat cooked well done, were all delicious and it was stated in the menu that they were served as they would be in Brazil, the whole point of a Brazilian restaurant I think! All in all a brilliant night out and I would definitely recommend it, especially on a quieter night such as Monday as we didin't feel rushed at all. Great food and great staff!

On our first visit to this restaurant we were very impressed by the freindly service, Value for money and the quality of the food. We had great cocktails in the bar then some of the best meats i've eaten for years in the restauant, the beef was cooked just how it should be nice and rare ozing with juices. Even when my partner (who has no taste) asked for well done the chef came back with some meat that he had especially over cooked. We had a vegetarian with us (well they get everywhere) and although it is a restaurant that specializes in lots of meat, vegetarians seem to be catered for well. The meal took us 2 hours to eat I don't like to be rushed when i'm out with freinds as you are at some other lincoln restaurants like GINOS! The bill was £35 each for the set meal, house wine, dessert and Cocktail. Excellent value! We will be going back very soon. Service 9/10, Atmophere 8/10, Food 9/10, Value for money 10/10

Our meal was stretched to around 3 hrs as the food was so slow to arrive. The meats were brought around 2 hours after we started eating despite frequent requests. They were carved on the table with blood running onto the table and then the floor. The vegeterian was baulking, others were looking away and my wife was in the ladies feeling ill after the starter. We were not offered deserts although it was far too late at this point. The cost was around £35pp including a service charge. Very poor.

This is one of the best places in Lincoln to go and have a relaxed meal, with friendly staff and some of the best food around. I have never been disapointed with food or staff. All bookings are for at least 2 hours and you are able to eat as much or as little as you like. Nothing better than being able to eat at your own pace and therefore enjoy your food and company without a feeling that your table is been stalked for the next customer. Not expensive and fab food... get yourself there. You'll have a great night. To the Staff and Obviously the Chef......Huge Thanks and keep it up.
