Service was good, food was ok, nothing to write home about. My wife and I expected more, we spent £50.00 on the meal, having a starter and main course. We both went for the supreme chicken breast and both ended up with bones in the dish, maybe its a local thing,,,,, but I have never had breast of chicken with bone in it. Overall expensive and not worth the money

Due to my line of business I spend most of my working week in hotels all over the country and my Head Office is based in Louth. I stay at the Brackenbourogh Arms Hotel on a monthly basis,I get a warm and friendly welcome every time I go, it has been refurbished to a very high standard the food is fantastic, it is a true pleasure to stay there. I would like to thank all the staff and management for making me feel so welcome, it's just like coming home!

'A friendly smile is all you want after a long or short journey.' Yes. That is what Brackenborough Arms promised. My husband Chris and I arrived at the Hotel after what turned out incidentally to be a very long journey, prolongued by an incident at a service station. Chris's thigh was aching and I had the beginnings of a terrible headache, bordering on a migraine. When we arrived, we immediately were able to take a hot shower, make use of some complimentary saches of hot chocolate, then slip into warm clean sheets which smelt wonderfully fresh. When we awoke, I had toast and cereal and Chris had the full English as usual, not being as concerned about his hips as I am! When we left we were rewarded with a wonderful smile which was all we needed to complete our stay. Yes, The Brackenbury Arms is everything it claims to be, and more. .
