I didn't visit the hotel because although I had booked on line on 23/01/2007 it was not until 07/02/2007 that they rang to tell me that the room was now unavailable. There was little apology but they did say that they had booked me into a nearby hotel although they were unable to give me the address just the name and suggested I search the web to get directions! They confirmed it was the same price. I rang the other hotel to confirm details to find that the accomodation was actually dearer but the Grinkle Park had told them that it wouldn't be a problem ! I believe that this is such a poor way to deal with customers that I am really pleased NOT to be staying at the Grinkle Park ! Good luck to those of you that do !

Lovely hotel with lots of character set in beautiful grounds. Rooms were very spacious and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful break in pleasant surroundings.

Good Points: Enjoyed the atmosphere of this lovely old hotel General Review: Accomodation was superb. Location and gardens fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and very large. The only thing that let this hotel down was the standard of its restaurant. The service was good but the food was uninspiring and not of the quality you would expect. This aside, we enjoyed our stay and would reccomend the accomodation.
