Not sure where to start, but a real competition for the Fawlty Towers award. 1. Arrived with a party of 20 people first night expecting rooms to have already been allocated - not the case and after an hour ended up with a real hash of rooms (example 5 single men sharing annexe and even same beds due to lack of avaialability. 2. Evening meal booked prior to arrival- finally at the table 10.30 with last meal delivered 11.00 p m.. Some meals returned as cold. 3.Sewage smell in annexe - subsequently found wet towel covering dampness. 4.Breakfast service really poor. Only 2 people responsible for cooking / serving/ washing - not acceptable. Small quantities in Annexe. 5. Coach driver located 5 miles away and taxi service for him very unreliable - 2.00 am first evening. 6.Despite continued requests, account not finalised until last minute, delaying departure. 7. Despite assurances, owners not present at agreed times to resolve issues. All in all a very dissaponting experience which served to ruin the weekend Hopefully the constructive criticism above will make the owners realise that people are not prepared to sit back and accept such poor service. This should act to serve as a real wake up call.

Good Points: The family room was comfortable and well equipped. Bad Points: The hotel was in need of some refurbishment General Review: The hotel has a touch of Fawlty Towers about it and is in need of a bit of TLC. The staff, however, could not have been more friendly and helpful and the food served in the restaurant was very nice. We used the transfer service to the airport and this went very smoothly.
