I was more than pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this little gem of a pub set on the main street of Lisbellaw. It is this prime location was the main reason behind my visit as my partner and I were walking through the village returning to our bed and breakfast on the outskirts. One of two pubs in the village, the Glencar had also been recommended by the proprietor of our accommodation, not only an excellent choice in which to partake of a few sociable drinks but also as an excellent place to eat. And we were not disappointed. it was early saturday evening yet the pub was quite full and a lively crowd was beginning to set themselves up for a racous evening!! Everyone was very welcoming and included us in their "craic" while we waited for our meal. The food was superb - my partner said his steak was cooked to perfection - and believe me he isnt easily pleased!! All in all an excellent spot to enjoy true Fermanagh hospitality, aided and abetted by fine food and great Guinness!! Will defiantely return!!
