Had passed Cahoons on numerous occasions in the car and one afternoon thought id pop in for lunch with my partner out of curiosity.I ordered cod & chips, she a bowl of broth. When order came 20 minutes later (bar was virtually empty as just opened for meals @ 12-30)my fish was overdone on outside and pasty , undercooked inside. My partners soup was bland and tasted like it was out of a catering tin. When i complained the young waitress asked did i want anything instead, to which i replied ..NO THANKS.Rubbish Food, Overpriced, Inexperienced staff!Be Warned!

I went today to Robbies. It was my first visit and I was so impressed. Was welcomed by friendly efficient staff. Has an execellent varied menu. Had the sizzling beef with noodles. Was so nice. Had chocolate fudge cake. Very good value for money. I'm used to paying much higher prices for food in Belfast. No faults. I'll be back, plan to go some Sunday looks like very good value for 3 course Sunday lunch.

we had a staff do on saturday night Buffet and Disco I arrived at 8.30 and the place was a total mess. We sat at a tabel and my friends handbag stuck to it, It looked like they had not been cleaned for weeks asked for a cloth and was given damp blue roll buffet came out and bread was stale crisps soft sausages burnt and sausage rolls must have been reheated at least 5 times you could have built a wall with them

These comments are made on behalf of the many regular and loyal customers of Robbies. It is the opinion of many that the cost of food and drink is becoming far too expensive and that before too long there will be an overdue boycot of the place. The owner should value the opinion of his regular customers otherwise his takings may suffer.

After trying robbie cahoons last year i wasn't that impressed to be honest, my husband ordered the steak medium and it came full of fat and over cooked and the rest of the meal wasn't much better. So for my birthday this year we thought we would give it another go and we were glad we did, the food was delicious and the staff where really friendly. I would agree that the desserts are over priced though. However we paid 62.00 for a meal for a family of 5 and that was including a few drinks so well worth the money.

Never got to visit as wouldnt entertain an 18th birthday party for my autistic son. I told them that only family would be attending and was advised that he could not hold his 19th, 20th etc.. but not his 18th. Do they think only 18 year olds have underage friends. I was told I could book dinner and drink here but not hire a room, which I thought would be more secure and grown up for my son. So if booking this particular venue tell them its for 19th, 20th etc.. birthday or they will not let you book!!!

Dear Sir/Madam. we love robbie cahoons food and service, we are there nearly every week for our tea. i only have one complaint and so do many others i know who have eaten there. and thats your deserts are far to expensive for what you get.£4.75 is way to far. deserts should be no more then £3.00. if they were cheaper you would sell far more. my brother owns a few restaurants in scotland he was charging about the same £4.50 a desert noone was interested untill he put the prices down to £3.00. now nearly everyone has a desert. i could buy a whole desert in the shop for what you charge. hope to here from you soon. your service and staff are excellent and the food is the best. yoursincerly M. I have been going to Robbies frequently over the last 2 years and have never had a bad meal - We love the chicken bercy it is super! My mum and dad also love Robbies- and they are hard to please! We prefer lunchtimes allthough whatever time you go it has a relaxing atmosphere, it is prompt and excellent quality at very reasonable prices - also perfect portion sizes - The only thing I could say is that recently some of the staff have changed a little and while the new ones are friendly and efficient still lack that extra special touch!
