Went there today at lunchtime with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend. Ordered a variety of four meals. My wifes meal, a beef roast included a yorkshire pudding which appeared to have been cremated, it was a solid empty shell. Beef was cold and like rubber. Veg came in a small dish and had no taste at all. My meal, gammon, was passable but definitely not worth the money. the chips, I know sounds daft but they were greasy and tasted the same. In fact once all the meals arrived it smelt as though someone had placed a chip pan in the middle of the table. Even the 'replacement' yorkshire smelt and tasted as if it had been deep fried. In fairness my daughters meal was not bad, a big portion of lasagne and her boyfriends meal, cajun chicken, was just ok. Even standing at the bar to pay smelt strongly of chip fat. All the tables were sticky to the touch. The glass doors into the conservatory/dining ares were desperatly overdue to be cleaned and the shelves in the alcove behind us were filthy. Would I go there again, definitely NO.

Really can't belive the last comment, I have been going to the Green Dragon for over three years and it has always been excellent, I've had the leek and potoato pie before and it has never been potatoes swimming in leek soup.

went for a night out at this pub, ordered leek soup and it was extremely salty. then had leek and potato pie and it had potatos floating in the, leek soup with puff pastry on top. which was salty. the fish pie was tastless, it took 20 mins between courses even though there was only 5 tables being used. wouldn't go back again
