Good Points: Staff were friendly and tried to do their jobs as best they could. The location was great. Bad Points: shower atrocious as it ran too hot, ran too cold and even ran dry!!! Mattresses were saggy and lopsided. The pillows were old and lumpy. The dining room presented us with no clean tables and the breakfast was very weak. Toilet papaer was rationed!!!

Good Points: Absolutely delighthtful setting. Excellent set menu at a very reasonable rate. Very good breakfast and service in the dining room. Plenty of areas to relax. Bad Points: Only problem was that as I arrived at 9.30 it was not possible to obtain anything to eat apart from crisps in the bar. General review: A lovely hotel.

The lunch we had yesterday wasn't your usual standard. The beef was tasteless and tough.
