WE recently stayed in Middle Barton and came accross the Carpenters Arms. This is a really lovely pub which has recently had a great re-furb. We were happy to sit in their beautiful garden and have some lunch. The current owners are very pleasant and accomodating - I would definately recommend this pub - try their specicality' HOT ROCKS STEAK' - it is truly wonderful.
