Lovely friendly place to have a drink and a meal in an evening. Some really good ales as well, which is a plus. Pete, Ann, Margaret and Steve have worked hard to get the place up and running again. Go and visit and you won't be disappointed.

This pub was recently took over by villagers Steve, Pete, Ann & Margaret, and so far they're doing a wonderful job. If you like a friendly pub that serves excellent food & drink The George & Dragon is the place to go. The meat on the menu comes from nearby Spring Barrow Lodge Farm, and is very, very tasty (to say the least)! On Sunday evenings they have 'well above average' entertainment acts performing - Give them a call to see who's on this week. And if you're petrolhead's like us...........you'll be pleased to hear that the pub has a nice large car park with absolutely no craters. Elaine & Richard Jordan

What a really old quaint pub/restaurant this is. Real ales were very good and the food was superb, all freshly cooked local produce. Staff very friendly all in all an excellent evening
