When is a 250ml glass of wine not a 250ml glass? When you visit this pub!
Despite my query - I am a 'seasoned' wine drinker - they categorically stated that the 175ml glass served was 250ml. Charging £4.00 for 250ml is reasonable but not for what i was served. Food wise, I ordered the Seafood Spaghetti. When it arrived - in a lasagne dish with no sign of spaghetti i had to check that it was indeed my order. Someone there obviously wanted to make it easier for their laocls to eat. So, they seemed to have cut the pasta into smaller pieces and drenched it in about two pints ( could have been 250ml)of sauce. It tasted reasonable, but what would Egon Ronay say?
