Ugh. What a shame. Such a nice looking local with open fire and hops on the beams. A bit 'sticky carpets' but otherwise cosy. Food is ordinary pub grub - everything with greasy chips, all-day any-day rather tired carvery and flaccid veg. Standard catering pack stuff. On the plus side lovely double sided fire (don't sit in the conservatory - arctic and no atmosphere) and big car park. Not recommended for families with small children at all. If you can find somewhere to park, the Black Horse is far better for food - home-made!!
