Pub under new management from earlier this year. Simon is the landlord and runs a very clean and friendly pub. The food is also very good. Apart from Mon lunch, evening and sunday evening food is served between 12 and 2 and then 6 til 9.

Wow this pub is now under new managment the food on the day i visted was fish and chip night Fresh fish home made chips mushy peas great Jeanette the chef is a great cook and nothing is to much bother derek the landlord great company good beer
i recormend that you visit Mon-fri when chef Jeanette is cooking

went expecting a nice meal but was turned away as the staff werent bothering to cook that night (7pm on a thursday) not very welcoming and it seems that they would rather turn away customers that are not regulars all in all i wouldnt bother to travel the exta distance in exchange for rudeness
