Good Points: Staff friendly, good communicators. The hotel is clean and tidy. Bad Points: The hotel is stuck in a time-warp from the 1970's/1980's. Decor looks like it belongs in Vera Duckworth's house in Coronation Street. Hotel is not particularly good value for money, as whilst in Newquay, we found rooms available in hotels of the saem standard for about half the price we paid at the Edgcumbe (£40pppn). General review: For one night, the hotel was adequate, however, would have hated to have stayed for any length of time, unless we were on an 80's reunion weekend. You can get the same sort of hotel for a much cheaper price elsewhere if you look, but this one is bookable online, so a bonus I suppose as it's less hassle.
