I stayed here with my partner and 2 year old son and a couple of friends. The atmosphere was good and the food was fine but not anything special. However a few things were pretty bad: the shower in our room didn't work, neither did the television, there was mould all around the shower and sink so it clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. When I mentioned the fact that I was unable to have a shower to a member of housekeeping staff she just said "oh" and asked if i could give her the keys back now. Unbelievable! The chef came to knock on our door and tell us grumpily that we were half an hour late for breakfast and proceeded to moan about it within earshot of us at the breakfast table. ( our son had been ill overnight which was why we were late) Service was awful in the morning, we were given a cup of tea and waited for 15 minutes until someone asked if we wanted to eat a cooked breakfast (then begrudgingly sloped off to tell the angry chef that we did) The crazy thing was that we were the only ones there for breakfast and there were 4 others arriving at 10am so hardly busy! It's a great location but the service and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired.
