This is the second time I have visited this Pub/Restaurant, as I stated in my last review I was looking forward to my return visit. Sadly the expansive fish menu has gone as has the "spoilt for choice" Main Menu and even the deserts have been "culled". I asked why this was and was told "because of the Xmas season" I failed to understand this until I noticed that the tables were full with groups of friends enjoying the "Xmas Party Menu" at £22.00 a head. I then understood that the owners have gone for profit and put the excellent menus on hold until after the festive season. Oh well, it wasn't a bad meal but the service was not up to standard. Will try them again later.

having been told by numerous friends that the food here was great, I chose this afternoon to try it... On entering i was welcomed by a very pleasant young lady, who took my drink order and told me to choose a table and she would bring the Menu's. The four of us selected our food from not only a very complete menu but also from a separate fish board that had starters from £6.95 and mains from £7.95(battered cod and chips) to £14.95. The food was quickly brought to our table, very well cooked and presented. Our bill came to £44.00, which included four drinks. the whole experience was delightful and I have booked again very soon for a return visit....Can't wait. Don't miss this very well kept secret.
