we have not visited since 2008 but wasn't dissapointed, we were actually surprised, as it has recently gone under new management and some changes have been made for the better! well my partner was happy as they now have 2 flat screen TV's in the pub and showing all the live sport. The new food menu has good old traditional pub food and the Ham, Egg and chips should not be missed. defiantly would still reccomend this place to freinds and family. Terri & Tracey

My boyfriend and I visited the Strangers Home today for Sunday lunch, the service was very friendly, lovely atmosphere and the roast dinner was delicious, plentiful and a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and go back again soon.
