Have been to this pub several times in the last year and I must say it is one of the most friendly and welcoming pubs in the area. I have eaten there often and the food is really good and good value for money. I also had a party there and I must say it was a fantastic night.

Went for a family meal, only one other table of two eating, so restaurant not busy, however meal was very disappointing, bread rolls sent back as cold an stale, two meals were not edible, potatoes cold sent back, two Hunters chickens had no sauce on, Pie of the day rock hard sent back, need I say more. Only good thing about hour we stuck out there was the lovely polite waiter he deserves a medal while manageress and chef deserve to be sacked, she didnt apologise once unprofessional an rude. Disgusting!!!

Completly refurbished throughout pub and restaurant top quality bar food from 12- 7pm with an excellant selection of ales , largers and wines. there is a 60 seater restaurant serving top quality food all prepared fresh (not packet in sight) The staf are welcoming and helpfull, there maxim is never say no. There is a large beer garden with a climing fram for the children and also a garden at the back for the restaurant. This is a pub to watch out for
