we visted ashby tesco to have our annual lunch in the erest cafe. however usualy we would always have the fish and chips, sadly that was not avalible. After making a verbel complaint to Amber who is a supervisor in the cafe i was left unsatified, later on that day i went back into the cafe and spoke to a team leader called Heather after speaking to this polite young well mannered lady she offered a different meal for a meal which was on the menu.Me and my other half had the tikka masla which was most enjoyable.May who ever in managment please let Heather know our thanks.

visited Ashby Tescos at 10:30 this Sunday morning. Amazed to find that the canteen could not serve eggs as they had run out! Had to settle on just a cup of tea as no tea cakes either.

We visited the Ashby de la Zouch store this morning and would like to say how impressed we were with the helpfulness of Sarah (I think that was her name)on aisle 12 at 09:30. We have been served by this young lady before and will certainly look out for her when we shop at the Ashby Tescos again. Perhaps Sarah might remember the jar of marmalade she wouldn't serve us with because she felt it wasn't perfect. This is just one example of her customer care. Thank Sarah for us, she deserves a special mention. On another vein, this time a complaint, I wish to complain about the people doing the online shopping. Their trolleys take up a considerable amount of space in the aisles and to get 2 or more of them in one aisle does not make for hassle free shopping, especially when they stop to confer with each other, which has happened on occasion. They seem at times, to believe they have priority and we poor customers must give way. Are they on piece rates? Would you please remind them there are other customers in the store whose custom is equally valuable.

To Manager of Ashby Tesco Store: My wife & I visited your store yesterday around lunch time, just after power cut had occured. In this day & age it is unusual in many customer facing business's to have staff who are exceptional. You do have a young lady there called Jacquie who went much further than most to provide a high level customer satisfaction. There where reductions on clothing we were blissfully unaware of. When checking out our goods, she noted if we spent an additional couple of pounds we would recieve further reductions. This we did and duely gained this saving. From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank Jacquie for this kind thoughtful act. Please make sure Jacquie receives the praise she deserves. Kind Regards Tina & Robert Edwards - Polesworth
