Cosy and service good. Pity the meals weren't up to standard. Chicken curry bland and dry, not really a curry. Bit pricey considering standard. Sorry as refurbishments lovely

We ate there as a family last Sunday and enjoyed a great roast dinner for excellent value. I understand the new owners have put a lot of qwork in to re-establish the red lion, thanks for great hospitality, we will come back.

We live in the area and often eat at the Red Lion. We think it is a great pub. It looks attractive from the outside, it is cosy inside. It has it's own restaurant area. We think the meals are excellent and good value and the staff there are very friendly. Children are welcome in the restaurant and pub, they just like to keep it more for adults later on in the evening. There is a large beer garden with a play area.

a excellent childrens area, a pity about the food, it was very average pub grub, stick to sandwiches. The service was slow and soft drinks overpriced.

We did not know any pubs in the area, but chose this at random as it appeared well kept and inviting.
Little did we know what a delightful lunch we would enjoy. As an activities organiser i have arranged meals out for groups for 10 years, at various venues and have to say that although we have had many a good meal, the one at the red lion pickmere impressed me very much and is up there with the best. everything was home made including the chips which is very much a rarety.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly absolutely the best, please try for yourself.
We are planning a sunday lunch outing with all the family and this will be first choice.incidently it is also handy for arley hall and gardens.
