My family and I often visit this site and have always found it to be a great site, its brilliant for the kids with a safe play area and Moors Valley Country Park only 15 mins walk away. The site is always clean and tidy and i have always found the toilet block to be kept to an excellent standard. I would thouroughly recommend this family site to everyone.

According to the website, this caravan park is situated in a 'quiet country setting', which is very wrong!! We have just returned from one week there and have been woken every morning at 6.30am to 7am with occupants of the of the Ashley Heath Industrial Estate, which is situated only 500 metres from the site boundary!! Noise included, a factory radio blaring out at a ridiculous level, with occupants attempting to sing (or screech!?) along to the tune, a JCB being driven around the factory unit and the loading and unloading of steelwork. The site itself is small and family orientated. It may be secure, which is applaudible for tourers and personal belongings ie bikes, tent trailers etc but beyond the gate there is a country road which you must walk at your peril, with the speeding traffic that passes by! Although there is a 40mph limit, this is comleteley ignored by several cars and motorbikes, which can be easily heard whilst on the site, as they tear past. If you decide to venture out to the 'Old Barn Farm' for a family meal and a pint, it is recommend that you do so in daylight hours and hang onto the kids!! Street lighting is so poorly maintained with the topiary that it is non-existent and with speeding traffic, it is perilous!! On top of that the female showers were frequently cold, so much that children would not enter!! At £30 per night...we'd rather be at home and so left early without a refund!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

really good site near the moors valley country park. we have stayed here for about 3 yrs now and sometimes go back more than once in a season. the park is only a short walk through the fields. there is a car boot sale on a sunday in a near field if that is what you like aswell! People are friendly and helpful
