This is definitly one of the best traditional Agricultural Shows in the West of Scotland. There was about 100 Highland Cattle, 200+ blackface Sheep as well as Galloway and Commercial Cattle, Poultry and a Dog Show. There was brilliant competitions in Home Industries, Baking, Preserves, Horticulture, Floral Art, Photography and Crooks'n'Sticks.
There was great family entertainments including a local pipe band, Highland dancing, wood sculpting, Green Woodworkers, Magicians and Junior and senior Shinty.
There was fantastic local produce, and a good range of agricultural and Rural Trade Stands.
An excellent day out for all the family.
