This recently reopened contemporary art gallery makes imaginative use of the charming yet modest grade II listed building which was the former home and studio of the artist Thelma Hulbert. On display on the day we visited were several pieces of work by an assortment of artists demonstrating tremendous competency and skill in a number of disciplines including sculpture, painting, printmaking and photography. We were delighted to see the Learning Room being busily used for a schools workshop and our children were invited to join in for free! It had a lovely friendly atmosphere. The coffee was very good too, and we bought some nice cards and crafts from the shop.
