This pub has fallen into such bad hands, it is a great shame that a building with such history is being allowed to be run down by its current proprietors. The the choice of food is limited, expensive for what was served and mediocre, yes they may change the menu twice a day, not impressed so far. We waited nearly 90mins for our food, obviously not enough staff in the kitchen, the pub did not seem to be any near capacity. The ladies toilets were something else, the smell as you entered was nothing less than revolting and there is a glass light fitment that has about 1/2 inch of dust, and there was one towel that was very short of clean, thank goodness for paper towels. Apart from all this the serving staff are quite pleasant, albeit rather clueless and the landlord appears to be an arrogant pig. I could go on about the unkempt state of the garden. I dont think I want to return or will be recommending the place to anybody else.
