Really disppointed. Paid £11 for a roast dinner - Meat was nice and plenty of it though. Gravy watery and no extra gravy given. Puddings were £5.50 and the apple crumble was just sliced apple with some oats thrown on top, tiny jug of custard, asked for more custard and brought us out one more tiny jug between 3 of us! Service very slow and felt like we werent cared about as we werent regulars! Wont be going back. Everyone disapointed.

We had an excellent meal. The fish particularly was delicious and served very imaginatively, with an interesting and unusual blend of flavours.
The service was attentive and relaxed and nothing was too much trouble, even though we had a very fussy eater in our party.
Thank you for an excellent meal. We are just sorry we don't live closer.

The restaurant, food and service at the Blackboys Inn was stunning. The chef and licencee, Ed Molesworth, usually has a creative, eclectic menu with a lot of seafood and fish, but excelled himself by providing a gastro seven-course menu for me and my guests on my 50th birthday. We have eaten there in the past, and have always found it an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to future visits.
