Why so few reviews for such a superb pub?
I am can not be the only pub goer in the world that goes to a pub for light lunch and a damn good pint. I don't want to spend £12-£16 0n lunch. That's what you get here, reasonable prices, polite and chatty bar staff. Good pub grub, super pub in great settings. I would like to keep it a secret, or better still buy a house in Cheriton!! Thank you we will be back

On one of your sites you say there are disabled facilities and the toilet is mentioned in particular but I was there last week and when I wanted to use the WC found two steps which being in a wheelchair prevented me from using the ladies. I had to go into the gents instead. We were also surprised to find that credit cards were not accepted which could have been embarrassing as often we have little cash with us. Apart from those impoirtant facts, we found the ale excellent and the baps good too and being able to sit outside in the sun under an awning was excellent and relaxing.
