Being a local villager for over 20 years now, i am appalled to hear the negative review left about the tally. Having dined at the tally most weekends i have seen great improvement with the food due to the new menu and the new chef. I have always been made to feel welcome and enjoyed the company, whether its been the older crowd or the younger generation. I am pleased to see that the younger generation are welcome and in return are supporting our local pub. As for tattos and customised cars the last time i checked it's a free country and i would like to point out the mannagment has no control over peoples individualities. Myself and other loyal villagers will continue to support the tally ho!! well done to the new mamagement and all the staff.

We've been going to the Tally Ho for years and it's always been a friendly local pub where all were welcome.
However, it's recently been taken over by the Big Little Pub Company and has changed drastically. For those who don't know Broughton, it's a respectable (and highly respected) historic village in the Test Valley in Hampshire.
Unfortunately, the tell-tale, misplaced nationalistic England flag outside is the first warning you get before seeing the 'Halfords Special' customised cars outside. On entering, expect vested, tatooed yobs swilling lager and generally taking advanage of the incongruous opportunity to behave like idiots.
A great shame, but avoid. Go to the fantastic, friendly Mill Arms in Dunbridge, or the Star at Tytherley if you want a civilised evening.
