Great little country pub, with local beers, really friendly Landlord, and some great smells coming from the kitchen, will definitely return, recommend a visit.

The Cap and Feathers is a real local in an idyllic village - a real treat in these days of chains. The beer is exceptional, the welcome freindly and the food decent, good value and plentifu.
I had the roast Sunday Dinner (a cheap deal if you have a pudding or starter) which was fine though the chef had gone a bit beserk with the gravy which the food was swimming in. For pudding I had "lemon sponge cake" which turned out to be what I would have called a lemon sponge pudding - hot with ice cream, not that I am complaining.
My friends had cheese sandwiches which came with chips and were absolutely gigantic. The whole bill with a pint of Crouch bitter a couple of pints of soda and two halves of lemonade was only just over £20. Excellent value.
Tillingham is a picture perfect Essex weatherboard village and the Cap and Feathers is the ideal local pub - well worth seeking out if you are in the Burnham area.
