Fabulous place, found it by accident and wished we had had longer to spend there. Whilst a locals pub we, as strangers, found a warm welcome from all staff. The chef deserves 10 out of 10, delicious food and well presented. Very inexpensive too which is also a bonus. If you're a sailing fan you'll love it, would like to have found out more about Peter but time didn't allow. Will go back if ever in that part of devon again - it's certainly the only decent place to eat in the area!

I would like to comment on the friendly and warm welcome that myself and my family recived on the friday night we visited the Green Dragon in Stoke Fleming. The food was superb and as my trade was catering i found the service and professionalism of all the staff to be exceptional. The pub was very busy as it was easter weekend but everyone had time to talk about the menu, provenence of the food and drinks and ales avaliable. I will be very happy to return there to eat on my next visit to the area!

My partner and I decided to have a drink and eat at the Green Dragon Stoke Fleming. I am 62 years old widely travelled and I have never experienced such an unpleasant and downright rude "welcome" by any owner of a pub.(a "lady") The only reason I had a drink was to calm down from the abuse before withdrawing our custom and eating in a nearby village. It is appalling that because an establishment "enjoys" a captive clientele because it is the only pub in town it can get away with this kind of attitude for so long. We know this from conversations with local B&B owners who are dissparing of the situation as their selling point is having a " friendly" pub within walking distance, they wish. The Green Dragon can congratulate itself in single handedly undermining the economy of an otherwise lovely village. This pub desperately needs new owners, until it does we will not return to Stoke Fleming
