We booked for the restaurant in advance but when we arrived and sat at the table we saw that you had to have a three course meal. We asked about this and the staff said we should have been told on the phone which we wernt. No comprise given and we were herded into the bar. I asked to speak to the manager who was both rude and unhelpful. He implied it was our fault (”its always been like that for 25 years” ) and said he couldnt expect his staff to tell everyone on the phone. He did not make eye contact or offer any help. We tried to open a tab to have bar food to be told we had to leave our credit card or car keys behind the bar (”its not that we don’t trust you its just our policy”). Meat had obviously been standing as had the vegatables.
They don’t trust their customers so don’t trust them. Would not recommend at all…have a MacDonalds instead at least they wish you ‘a nice day’.
