Wild Rose is the perfect family park, there is plenty for the kids to do and the pitches are some of the best and most modern in the country. We could just let the kids play as we relaxed. The flowers are out of this world. We will certainly be back. The wigwams also looked interesting!

This is by far the best caravan site I have been on..and I have been on many. It is a gem off the well beaten track to the lake district. I dare you, instread of going all the way to the lakes turn of at Appleby in Westmoreland and head for Ormside. The site is outstanding. wITH A SWIMMING POOL AND KIDS POOL. Yes this weekend we found our own little paradise

We have just arrived back from our 2 night stay at the Wild Rose Camp Site in Cumbria. We found the site excellent especially if you have young children as there plenty for them to do. The Showers and loos are kept very clean as is the site itself. the only thing I would suggest changing is the opening hours of the site shop to be a bit earlier than 8.30 as a camper you are often up early and need supplies.
