it a fantastic site ive been going to pentewan for 7 year.if you dont book up early it very popular.its like home from home.

Wonderful setting in it's own bay, lovely gentle sloping beach, boat launching, well-maintained site with 2 pools, shop, club house, takeaway etc. Gets very busy in high season, but full of 'like minded' people who are generally quiet and polite. Excellent loo and shower blocks and good permannet caravans too. You can either join in, send your kids to the kids club, go to entertainment in the club house etc - or do as I (and my fmaily) do and enjoy the scenery, sea, pool and the peace and quiet - as well as lunch in the club house / fresh croissants from the shop in the morning. It's the next bay along from Mevagissey so you can go and get your 'tourist fix' if you like - or just chill out. Site is right on the beach, you can literally step out of your tent onto the sand on some pitches. The owners are not intrusive in any way, but ensure that the rules are kept (no dogs, no loud music etc). I love it - I went as a small child, and have taken my kids back since. We've tried other places but keep coming back as this beats 'em all!
