Stayed in the hotel for one night. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The bar has a real fire and this is so homely and comforting. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast is substansial. I hope to return to the Ambrose as i thoroughly enjoyed my short stay.

We have just come back after staying in one of the most welcoming and friendly hotels that i have ever stayed in. The staff are both efficent and a credit to the hotel. The food was fantastic and made fresh not frozen like some places!! the thing i can say though is the portions are massive real belly busters!!! We are booking to go back at christmas!!
