Good Points: The room was clean and tidy the bathroom was newly decorated and had a bath Bad Points: The room itself could have been bigger General review: It would be handy to know if it is possible to book a parking space, as the parking is limited and once in the carpark it is generally difficult to move.

Attended wedding and stayed. Really scruffy furniture, some staff surly (others nice). Manager unhelpful and unpleasant. Some rooms nicer than others. Food very mediocre (cold mainly - staff disinterested). Expensive for what it was. Wouldn't revisit, which is a shame, as, under the right management and with higher standards it would be very acceptable.

"Nice big bed, breakfast OK.","It looked as though the room needed a spruce up. Nothing drastically wrong, but shaver light not working, wallpaper peeling, bleach stain on carpet.","The booking via the internet was good, the staff were helpful and polite, the common areas were also OK. It's just that the room looked like it needed a bit of maintenance - especially the bathroom."

"pleasant, comfortable and friendly. And not having a single room pushed at the back of the hotel.","A very pleasant comfortable hotel. I was travelling alone on business but felt safe, which is very important to women. Meals were exeptional standard and will use this hotel again if staying in the area."
