This was once a reliable local restaurant with interesting fresh food. But no longer - quality and appearance of food have gone down. Side and main dishes are not interesting or attractive, with meagre portions and not as well cooked as by the previous chef. This restaurant is simply not worth the money any more. We just wish we knew where the old chef has gone....

Dreadful! Sea Bass (£12-95) tiny portion, dry and over-cooked. Potatoes (£3 extra) OK. Green veg (£3 extra) green beans and mange toute, stringy. Glazed carrots (£2-50 extra), over-cooked.
Total cost for one course - £21-45.
Conclusion: miserly portions, badly cooked. The "Gastro-pub" phenomena at it's absolute nadir.
