On a bitterly cold night in Soho Quo Vadis looked about as bright and welcoming as its possible to be. This is all about Traditional British Cooking and the menu delivered perfectly. A delicious but simple crab was a wonderful starter as was the Crab linguini. Mains of Squab and Sole were simply superb - both benefitting from a kitchen at the very top of its game. The slight let down was the sometimes offish service which, in restaurants such as this, seems to be commonplace these days. Note to QV - we would have drunk two bottles of wine had it not been for the waiters insistence of cooling it elsewhere and then allowing our glasses to run dry. 9/10 (could easily have been a 10) and we got to sit next to Ralph Fiennes !
