Flatrock has for us always been our favourite restaurant and certainly the place to go if you want to impress visitors. We do try to go on a regular basis with friends or just my husband and myself. We have lived in W Wales for 12 years now and have tried many restaurants, but none have measured up to Flatrock. The food (my personal favourite is the fillet steak) is always consistently wonderful and the service, second to none. If you only go to Flatrock for the wonderful food then the view of Cardigan Bay from the window of the restaurant, is an added bonus and you will return again and again. On wed 10th August, we took my daughter, her partner and my grandson for dinner. My daughters partner had been once before when they visited us 2 years ago (we usually visit them) and in that two years he had talked non stop about the wonderful steaks at flatrock. Being Cardigan bay of course the fish (the salmon being a firm favourite of my husband)couldn't be any fresher. Of course the menu is wide and varied with a fabulous choice of wines and my ambition is to work my way through the menu !! Unfortunately, the fillet is so wonderful I can't get past it !!!! All in all the best quality food served with the highest degree of hospitality and efficiency in the most wonderful place on earth, what more could one ask for ?
