Good Points: Very pleasant and comfortable rooms. Staff in dinner restaurant very efficient and charming. Bad Points: 1. The dinner special ran out before dinner began because it had been served at lunchtime. Kitchen staff obviously hadn't informed the dining room. The meal was, at best, modest - fresh fish vitiated by a very poor sauce that pretended to be ratatouille. No bread on table, no water. 2. Newspaper ordered for breakfast but then charged as an extra. I was staying in a so-called executive room. A newspaper is a minimum service. Ditto for car park. 3. Breakfast: guests are promised freshly cooked food. In fact both the egg and the saugage had been long pre-cooked. The toasts made of the poorest quality supermarket bread. 4. On checkout I actually had to ASK for a receipted invoice. My overall impression of this hotel is that it is run by penny-pinchers. It is mean spirited and rather unwelcoming (the dinner restaurant staff a notable exception). General review: The room was agreeable and well furnished; but the stay was rather unpleasant.
