Born 1831. Died 1912 - English architect.

Acknowledged leader in revival of Georgian design. His major buildings include the Old Swan House, Chelsea (1876), New Scotland Yard (1888) and the Piccadilly Hotel (1905). Designed the garden suburb at Bedford Park, London.
