Born 1937 - Scottish folk and traditional singer.

Internationally renowned as a singer of traditional Scots ballads. Well known for her interpretation of the songs of Robert Burns. Worked with the American composer Serge Hovey to produce the most extensive collection of Burns's songs ever published.
