Became well known as the presenter of Fully Booked in the 1990s. Also presented the shows The Movie Chart Show, Top of the Pops,Live & Kicking and Dead Famous. Suffered from stress, drugs and post-natal depression which led to alopecia, causing her to lose all her body hair. Was the subject of a BBC documentary Gail Porter Laid Bare in 2006.
